Will Never Forget
Refuge Events, an event company in Nagpur with over two decades of large-format production experience, had the privilege of designing and delivering the Ajay-Atul Live in Concert experience at the Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav 2024 in Nagpur — the most anticipated night of a 10-day cultural festival conceptualised by Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari.
From the opening chants of "Jai Jai Survar Pujit" to the thunderous reception of "Natrang Ubha" and the devotional power of "Indra Jimmi Jambh Par", the night belonged to the celebrated music composer duo Ajay and Atul Gogavale and to a crowd of over 30,000 that filled every inch of the Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education grounds at Hanuman Nagar. Every layer of the experience — from the stage architecture to the lighting plot, from crowd flow to the broadcast feeds — was built to honour both the artists and the audience.

Delivering the technical specifications expected by a National Award-winning music duo with a global stage history — from mixing-desk consoles to in-ear monitoring and broadcast audio feeds.
Dignitary Protocol
Coordinating the lamp-lighting ceremony and protocols for a Union Minister and several MLAs, MPs and dignitaries — without slowing the audience's energy or the artists' arrival.
One Shot, No Margin
A festival finale with a 30,000-strong crowd primed for hours leaves no margin for technical hiccups — every system needed full redundancy, every cue rehearsed to the second.

Made It Happen
We approached the concert as part music production, part civic event. Working hand-in-hand with the Khasdar Mahotsav organising committee, the artists' management and the Nagpur city administration, every decision passed through one filter: would this make the night unforgettable for both the front row and the back row?
Strategic Discovery & Show Design
Workshops with the organising committee and Ajay-Atul's production team to map the show flow, technical rider, dignitary moments and the precise arc of the evening.
Stage & Site Build
Built a large-format performance stage with cinematic LED walls, a layered lighting truss, runway extension and crowd-side delay towers — engineered for both intimacy and scale.
Concert Production
Deployed concert-grade line array sound, in-ear monitor systems, multi-camera live IMAG feeds and broadcast-quality recording — every signal redundant, every console hot-spared.
Audience Experience
Designed the audience journey end-to-end — entry queue management, dedicated zones, giant screen spillover areas on adjoining roads and an on-site medical and rest infrastructure.
Flawless Execution
A 90-person on-ground team operating through full technical and dress rehearsals — from the lamp-lighting through the encore, every cue, light and audio level precise to the beat.

The Ajay-Atul Live concert set a new benchmark for large-format music production in Vidarbha — flawlessly delivered, emotionally received, and lovingly remembered by every person inside the ground and on the adjoining streets.
