Refuge Events had the privilege of designing and delivering a bespoke welcome ceremony in New Delhi — a curated gathering that brought together the host, the guest of honour and a carefully selected circle of leaders, partners and well-wishers.
The brief called for warmth, discretion and protocol-grade precision in equal measure — an evening that felt unmistakably personal yet entirely composed. From the arrival ritual to the seating choreography, from the lighting plot to the menu sequencing, every detail was designed to centre the guest of honour while letting the host's hospitality lead the room.

We approached the brief as an evening of considered hospitality — closer in spirit to a private dinner than a corporate event. Working hand-in-hand with the host's office and security advisors, every decision was filtered through one question: would the guest of honour feel genuinely welcomed?
Discreet Discovery

Venue & Décor Design
Selected a private Delhi venue and transformed it with restrained décor, candle-led lighting, bespoke florals and considered table styling for a 300-guest gathering.
Production & Programming
Designed a low-key technical set-up — softly directional sound, ambient lighting cues and a curated cultural performance — engineered to enhance rather than dominate the room.
Hospitality Choreography
Crafted the arrival ritual, seating choreography, multi-course menu, sommelier programme and farewell sequence — every beat paced to the room's energy.
