Refuge Events had the privilege of designing and delivering the inauguration of the Indamer–Airbus Helicopters MRO Facility at the Multi Modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN) — a defining moment for India's helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul ecosystem.
The facility was inaugurated by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis in the presence of Romain Trapp, Executive Vice-President, Customer Support and Services for Airbus Helicopters; Rémi Maillard, President & MD, Airbus India and South Asia; Sunny Guglani, Head of Helicopters, Airbus India and South Asia; and Prajay Patel, Director, Indamer Aviation Pvt. Ltd. Under the partnership, Indamer is authorised to provide MRO services for the 125+ Airbus helicopters operating across India and South Asia from its facilities in Mumbai, New Delhi and Nagpur. Every element of the ceremony — from the protocol choreography to the technical reveal — was designed to honour both the engineering significance and the strategic stature of the moment.

We approached the launch as an aviation event first — with the precision, safety culture and protocol discipline that demands — and as a brand storytelling moment second. Working hand-in-hand with the Airbus and Indamer teams, MIHAN authorities and the Maharashtra state administration, we built the day around a single guiding principle: every detail had to earn its place.
Strategic Discovery

Hangar Design & Build
Transformed the MRO hangar into a dignified ceremonial space featuring a custom stage, Airbus-branded LED backdrops, helicopter showcase area and a 600-capacity guest zone.
Technical Production
Deployed broadcast-grade AV with redundant power, 12m LED wall, multi-camera setup, simultaneous interpretation and a dedicated media broadcast feed.
Guest Experience
Designed a refined arrival journey for global Airbus leadership, Indamer's team, state dignitaries, aviation trade and 600+ industry guests, with curated welcome kits and a press-ready facility tour.
Flawless Execution
A 45-person on-ground team operating across two full rehearsals and one synchronised D-day run — zero protocol lapses, zero technical failures, one standing ovation.
